The specific purpose of the organization is the instruction
of the public on agriculture matters by means of public
fairs and exhibitions. The fair, which is organized
and operated by the organization, provides exhibits
on farm life which include agricultural techniques,
farm equipment, cattle, poultry, farm products, canned
goods and homemade garments; county agents or other
individuals are available to explain these exhibits
to the public. The fair holds competitive events and
awards prizes to enlist the interest of young people
in agriculture and to educate them in the newest and
best techniques of farming and raising livestock.
Recreational features such as midway shows and public
refreshment stands are provided by the organization
to attract the public to the fair. The association
will assist in the 4-H program and bring together
all persons in Kosciusko County interested in farm,
home, and industry.
The Kosciusko County Community Fair would
like to thank the Board of Directors, Association
Members, and Staff who have devoted their time and
effort to ensure the success of each fair.
